Old Hollywood glamour hairstyle for Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie turned heads at Cannes yesterday when she attended the premiere of partner Brad Pitt's Inglorious Bastards.

The dark-haired beauty took a departure from her usual palette of black and grey, opting for a gown in a shade that is very en vogue this season - nude.

But it was not just the 33-year-old star's dress that got photographers talking, rather her glamorous old Hollywood hairstyle.

She wore her locks in an extreme side parting, swept round her neck and over one shoulder in a very simple and understated, yet chic manner.

Luckily for the Tomb Raider actress she has the volume and length required to make this style work well, but others not endowed with such an abundance of tresses will have some work on their hands to imitate it.
